Welcome to Recruitment! 

The Panhellenic Association's Recruitment Team is excited that you decided to participate in this opportunity and are looking forward to assisting you through the process!

You will be meeting lots of women over the course of the Alternate Events (which started yesterday and continue through tomorrow) as well as over the Formal Recruitment process (Thursday - Sunday). We hope that you remember to be yourself, be positive and keep an open mind. 

With that being said, we wanted to share with you the Potential New Members Bill of Rights as provided by the National Panhellenic Conference. Every Potential New Member participating in the Recruitment Process has the following rights:

1. The right to be treated as an individual
2. The right to be fully informed about the recruitment process
3. The right to ask questions and receive true objective answers from recruitment counselors (Rho Gammas) and members
4. The right to be treated with respect
5. The right to be treated as a capable and mature person without being patronized
6. The right to ask how and why and receive straight answers
7. The right to have and express opinions to recruitment counselors (Rho Gammas)
8. The right to have unbreakable confidentially when sharing information with recruitment counselors (Rho Gammas)
9. The right to make informed choices without undue pressure from others
10. The right to be fully informed about the binding agreements implicit in the preference card signing
11. The right to make one's own choices and decision and accept full responsibility for the results of the decision
12. The right to have a positive, safe, and enriching recruitment and new member experience

Congratulations are in order...

Congratulations are in order to the women of our Panhellenic community on your achievements in scholarship:All of our Panhellenic chapters on our campus have collectively achieved a higher All-Sorority Average GPA than the All-Women Average GPA during the Spring 2012 and Fall 2012 semester!

Congratulations, and here's to a scholarly Spring 2013 semester!

Recruitment Registration closes this Friday!

Greetings from the Panhellenic Recruitment Team!

We hope that you all are having a fantastic Winter Term, whether you are here on campus or off on an amazing adventure! With that being said, we wanted to send you all some registration reminders, as these are the last few days you can register for Panhellenic Recruitment!

1. Registration is still open and can be found by clicking here. Please note that there is a $25.00 fee that must be paid by credit/debit card. Registration closes at midnight on Friday, January 11, 2013. When registering, please fill out the form completely, accurately and professionally. There is still time to register! Registration closes this Friday, January 11, 2013 at 11:59 PM.

2. Please be reminded that in addition to registering and paying the registration fee, women must have at least 2.5 cumulative GPA to participate in Recruitment and to receive a bid from a Panhellenic chapter - no exceptions.
3. The Recruitment schedule is as follows:
  • Panhellenic Formal Recruitment is January 31 - February 3
    • Round One is Thursday, January 31 and Friday, February 1
      • Thursday is from about 6:00 - 9:00 PM.
      • Friday is from about 6:00 - 11:00 PM.
    • Round Two is Saturday, February 2
      • Saturday is from about 1:15 - 8:00 PM
    • Round Three is Sunday, February 3
      • Sunday is from about 8:30 AM - 1:15 PM. 
    • Bids will be released later that day (around 5:30 PM)
4. For students who have class, are in the opera/play or are athletes, we will have an alternate process to allow you to maximize your time meeting Panhellenic women, while avoiding your schedule conflicts. We will send out more specific information on how to RSVP for alternate recruitment events once you complete your registration. Please note that these will take place over lunch and later in the evening January 28 - 30, 2013. Even if you are needing Alternate Recruitment because of an athletic or academic reason, you must still register on the link found earlier in the e-mail message.

Please note that your Rho Gamma may be off-campus during Winter Term, so e-mailing Panhellenic works, too! Due to the volume of messages we receive, it may take us a few days to respond.
