River Huston
River Huston is a sex educator and college speaker, as well as an award winning poet, journalist, performer and activist. She travels throughout the United States speaking at colleges, conferences, corporate events on issues related to communication, self-esteem and overcoming challenges. The Panhellenic Executive Council brought Huston to DePauw University once again because they believed it is important to bring the women of DePauw's campus together to learn how to overcome some of the most difficult situations in life with grace, dignity and our humor in tact.
River Huston was a brilliant speaker not only because of the ease with which she talked about the most pressing and difficult issues women must overcome, but also because of how she talked about these serious topics in such a humorous way. River Huston has an amazing gift to move audiences to laugh as well as to cry with her stories, demonstrations, and the overall interactive nature of her presentations. DePauw University's women were truly honored to have had an opportunity to see her.
